I’m Back

So, the holidays are over, and with them my mad dash to complete year-end work goals and then an almost equally mad attempt to squeeze seeing family and friends into a seven day visit back to Seattle. I will soon be off to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), probably the greatest example of the mass consumerism of the technological age OR a lot of gadgets in one place, depending on how political you’re feeling.

I’ll be writing about camcorders to help our sister site, and I have to say that since I haven’t spent more than five minutes with a camcorder in my entire life I’m a little intimidated by the things. I’ll drop a line from the show to let you all know how things are going. In the meantime there are a bunch of posts that I’ve been saving up the past few weeks and I’ll be throwing those up in the next few days.

Oh, and I hope you all had happy holidays and enjoy a wonderful new year (btw, I can’t believe it’s 2008 already).
